    Recommendation on lights

Oh I understand the Watt Per Gram philosophy. I'm a craft grower. I grow for my own personal needs. I do not have cost and production pressures because there is no profit component to my growing. I too can use what I want and I have 4 1k HPS in enclosures with four companion COB LEDs for a...

    Switching to organic

Nothing sounds bad. If I have it correct microbes, microorganisms, are living in the soil so they consume materials and in return are a part of the soil food web in which plants get their needed nutrients from with a little help. One of the interesting Organic Soil topics is the "Soil Food...

    Recommendation on lights

I always wanted to try Hortilux Dual. I might have this time except I didn't think about it before I ordered the regular Hortilux Eyes 1ks.

    Recommendation on lights

For explosive growth people say hanging an naked HPS down in the canopy is a good way. I will agree that naked HPS bulbs do really well. It's almost like watching plants grow in real time. I have never hung one vertically but I had one horizontal in a hood with no glass. You will find that the...

So I am bummed out as to how my grow came out.

yeah that's the idea! We all learn. I find grow site forums fun! Posting pictures and such is fun. Smokable or Cannabutter it all works. Bigger tent seems like a good suggestion.

So I am bummed out as to how my grow came out.

Well I prefer the cold of winter to grow in the flower room. Tents are a new fish for me. They have access to an open window so ambient air is available. Convection seems to be working so far with them. There are also Guinea Pigs in that room. If I am still growing in there when Summer hits I...

I'm pushing the flower room season a bit. I worry it will get too hot out there. In the tents the Blue Dream project is going okay. Also the clones lived this time. Got a Clone-King just to save my ass. I was doing something wrong with the humidity dome. Going okay for first year in new place.

    Perlite top dressing

Wisdom in every word. I love reading what people do and think with growing. Never tried Coco. I read good things about it.

So I am bummed out as to how my grow came out.

There is wisdom in every post. That is for sure. I'm excited to do LED and tent so I'll know more later. I am attempting a breeding project. Link is in the signature. No fans in there yet. That may change. I like the open space and convection. That Zeny seems engineered real nice for that...

Oh and this tent seems really cheap now that I have seen the price of others that people have posted here. Nova Microdermabrasion 48"x24"x60" Mylar Hydroponic Grow Tent with Observation Window and Floor Tray, High Reflective Growing Tent Room for Indoor Plant Fruit Flower Veg It simply says...

So I am bummed out as to how my grow came out.

Well, after ten years of not being able to grow I lack the skills to be competitive with all the wonderful pictures I see on RIU. I believe that the only true critic is myself. There will always be someone else that is better at (whatever) so to truly compete I look at what I do and compete to...

    Perlite top dressing

I always thought perlite was to help drainage. Then there is Vermiculite. That's what I always thought. Perlite to help not retain water and Vermiculite to retain water. So if it's a too wet soil mixing Perlite can help. If it's a dry soil Vermiculite can help. Both are basically popped...

So I am bummed out as to how my grow came out.

I have no fans in my tent at all. Oh I have 4 inch fans still in the boxes they came in but things are going well enough. I have only worked in organic soil so pH and stuff doesn't come into being an issue for me except when I am making guinea pig manure tea and adding things like oyster shell...

What do people think of "convection?" An opening for cooler air at the bottom and an opening for warm air to leave at the top? Is this what you do @MarkyMarker
