    Weed too dry to cure

Terps have something to do with the high for sure. From experience, i have had strains with the same thc/ thc-a levels and one works good for me the other didn’t. After learning this, and only because the info on the medical strains is available, I have since used the terp profile to get the...

    Weed too dry to cure

Thanks Your statement about the terpenes evaporating is what i was wondering about. I truly enjoy the discussion and I like to learn about my hobbies. It seems some are saying if it ever gets below 58% rh which should translate into a moisture content of around 11% ( not a static #, it depends...

    Weed too dry to cure

Thanks for this- How about the RH? What is “too low” for terps to survive? And how long would it take to degrade? 1 day? 1 week? I had left an 1/8 in my car over a month or 2 this summer. It was so dry it actually changed color- darker. It was probably not as good as when it was fresh- but it...

I mentioned it because it was common then and some was good, some not so good. The other were top notch

    Weed too dry to cure

I know everyone says this-however what is the reason or science behind this claim? Theoretically- If I dry a bud to 45% for 1 or 2 days- what exactly happens to the terpines so quickly? Before everything was legal- did growers in Mexico specifically dry the bud to 58-62 %rh and carefully...

    Yellowing leaves with brown dots

Is the purple showing on the leaves as shown or is that from lights?

    Weed too dry to cure

The boveda pak will add or subtract moisture to get the closed environment to the humidity on the pak. I prefer the 58% as it is just about perfect to smoke. I found i had to let the bud sit out a while before it was good to smoke when I tried the 62%. It is simple physics that any porous item...

    Weed too dry to cure

I would like to know why this may be correct? If it was a short period of time that it was “too dry” and you bring it back to 58% with a boveda, what would exactly happen that is so bad? I know a short cure has changed the buds for the taste and smoothness, removes the green taste. Not totally...

The quest for density in buds

That’s genetics- I only grew it. My other plant has very large dense colas- same nutes, same room, same feeding schedule, same lighting- Different strain. These are solid and long. This is my first try with this THC bomb- It smells amazing- that’s for sure- I will know in a few weeks if it is good.

    Weed too dry to cure

The percentage can likely be altered by adding a sprinkle of kief on a bud- however I doubt the producers would chance their license doing this. There are only 4 producers in the state so competition is definitely very limited and there is probably not that much incentive to submit a false...

    Weed too dry to cure

My state has strict testing- however it is most likely the submitted sample was the absolute best nugs on one of the thousands of plants. So I don’t doubt it tested that high- but I know that every other nug is probably not that high. It has been a reliable way to compare strains but honestly I...

    Weed too dry to cure

In my limited experience- I believe curing helps with flavor and smooths out harshness. It may loose some “strength” but it is more enjoyable to consume. I am looking for a fine wine rather than grain alcohol. That said I have noticed, as have others, that my nugs are “stronger and better” than...

Feeling after long day of trimming

How do you feel after working around your fresh cut plants for a while? Yesterday I harvested a nice plant and worked around 8 hrs trimming. I prefer wet trimming. Last night I slept like a rock. I have had 4 back surgeries and I have more hardware than Home Depot in my back so I usually have...
