Have you ever gotten a variegated plant?

I’m no expert in plant viroids and pathogens. We could speculate but honestly to me it doesn’t matter. Maybe I shoulda been more specific, I thought about trying to name what’s wrong but honestly woukd likely but wrong and there’s a ton of pictures of different things going on here. But if...

High tap water ph for supersoil

don’t ph, I think about it as follows…. For living soil type growing….. you more likely to change your GUTS microbe by taking a shower in PHed Water, than to change your SOIL ph by changing the ph of your water. I only say this cause I’ve watched and tried and done lots of different things… if...

First super soil run how did I do?

I’m all over the place basement, greenhouse, outdoor always doing different stuff. I find the sweet spot for small veg as 5 gallons smallest, 12-16 under 4x4 area fbigger plants 10-15s. Usually 4 in 4x4 and sometimes those don’t keep up, Typically heavy handed amendment 2twice

First super soil run how did I do?

Oooo there is still plenty of room to burn a plant with amendments. It just takes longer. Also steering clear of slaughterhouse inputs will help. N amendments like blood meal, feather meal, guanos can fry chicken a plant faster and more horribly than synthetic. And your right recovery from...

First super soil run how did I do?

I do whole grows no additions often, large pots are key. With small containers constant top dressing is usually needed for most strains

First super soil run how did I do?

Don’t think of dry amendments as “nutes” these things are apples to oranges. A well balanced soil can have amendments added with no regard to N for veg, or PK for flower because in living organic soils the plant itself dictates when and how it uptakes nutrients. Based off its needs at that...

Seeds showing sex 12/12 in water cloner?

Yes but it will take more time to properly reveg that clone again. If your goal is sexing plants fast you can put cuts of each seedling into water, go to 12/12 and then see sex in those cuts. But just to correspond to the seedling that’s still vegging nicely. Then you know what are males and...

First super soil run how did I do?

Rock dust or mineral dust are honestly the most important factor in living soil. Increase Cation exchange and provides micro nutrients for YEARs or decades even. A single price of rocks dust never really goes away or “melts” into soil It stays the same forever and more or less exchanges single...

First super soil run how did I do?

Hmmm, hard to say cause I don’t have tons of time to do math but you have a lot of ingredients, potentially causing slot of unknowns I personally like a simple mix with these ratios base mix 1/3 peat 1/3 aeration 1/3 castings 2-4 cups NPK amendments per CF total 4 cups minerals ( rock...

50/50 Coco/Peat mix for base super soil

Biggest issue for me is after one wants to recycle their mix, peat is completely broken down, doesn’t change consistency over time. Where coco after a few runs turns to mud. And becomes hard to work with.

50/50 Coco/Peat mix for base super soil

Coco and peat are not interchangeable mediums one holds water one drains water, kinda like a cancel each other out if it were a math problem and you are left with nothing worthwhile growing coco and small pots with good fertilizers Or…. Grow in peat mix and use amendments and compost...

50/50 Coco/Peat mix for base super soil

I would not do that at all Pic one or the other The base for living, super, organic whatever you want to call it soils should be equal parts spagnum peat moss, aeration, and highest quality casting or compost money can source
