    Little help with dwc please

1900 ppm sounds high to me. I only ran DWC/rDWC for a few years, but I don't think I ever got that high. I think I may have pushed 1600-1800 mid flower one run and I remember that being overkill. Could just be over fed or locked out.

    Plants not looking great

Agree with above. They look dry. Possibly hungry as well. What medium are they in?

Breeding out of a mutation worth the time?

For sure. Most of the strange and atypical plants I've had have produced buds as good or better than their more normal siblings. A few have been useless. In this case, the only part of it that bothers me is the lost time while she sorts herself out.

Breeding out of a mutation worth the time?

Hey all. I've got a stockpile of seeds (s1) that I created by selfing a keeper pheno of Orkle (Tahoe OG x Purple Urkle from InHouse Genetics). I've been working with them for awhile and I run at least one every grow. It is a nearly perfect strain for my needs and the smell and flavor are...

    Mysterious necrotic spots

Not sure I've seen the contradictions you're referring to. I've been running promix on and off for over a decade and myself and most everyone I've ever discussed it with has been in agreement that a range of 5.8 to 6.2 is optimal. Perhaps there is a new batch of growers on here saying otherwise...

If the $ part of it was out of the equation

Once you have the upfront costs out of the way (lights, fans etc) you can totally save money with home grows unless you live somewhere with super high energy costs or super cheap rec weed. My first 2 grows with my current equipment paid for the investment and every grow after that has cost me...

Biggest yield per coco pot / plant? Help newby choose :)

If plant count is not a concern go option 3. Can I ask why you're giving up on promix?

    Can’t figure out the issue

Chelated nutrients that are immediately available for uptake by the plant are not the same thing as organic matter that must be converted by microbial, fungal and animal organisms to be usable by the plant. Having a huge nutrient load in living soil does very little for a plant unless the soil...

is there a thread/area for questions about the business side of Mary Jane?

the barrier to entry in the cannabis industry is largely financial. Most states have given companies with deep pockets an inherent advantage by creating extremely expensive licensing fees and rigorous and costly standards that must be meticulously maintained and regularly verified by state...

    Scorpion diablo X

Sounds like you're not aware of how closely HLG works with Samsung. I'd give this a watch, it will clear some things up for you.

    Annual unpolinated seed phenomenon

I dunno man, I've grown probably 20 or 25 varieties of feminized seeds and there was only 1 strain that regularly threw nanners. Maybe I just got lucky?

    Good mite? Or bad mite?

Was thinking the same, but I've rarely grow in living soil so my experience with them is limited. I am currently in soil however and I have a decent amount of them from the most recent compost top dressing. Other than occasionally seeing one on the lower stalk they completely leave the plant alone.

hi folks new to the forum need advice on my first attempt.......

First thing to remember is that coco is not soil. It's an inert grow medium. It is to be treated like drain to waste hydroponics. It must be kept consistently saturated and should never be given plain water as it messes with the cation exchange. I will let people more experienced than I at...

    Authentic Genetics

He said in the description on the website that they were his keeper PI crossed with the Josh D OG. I believe he said they were f1 or f2 and he intended them for people to pheno hunt. I just ran 1 as a tester but so far I'm loving the smell and resin production. I'll toss a Pic or two up tonight...

    What determines plant count?

According the laws of what location? I know people who've gone to prison for clones. I'd recommend exercising caution before giving out information that could contribute to someone losing their freedom.

    advanced nutrients connoissuer

I'd be open to the idea that a nutrient line may limit expression of certain terpenes, thus leaving others to be more prominent, but again, I'm just not aware of a process biologically that would allow a particular smell to be imparted. If what we fed our plants with directly led to a odor in...

    advanced nutrients connoissuer

I'd be willing to go as far as saying that a well balanced, complete nutrient regiment will help a plant to have the health and vigor to fully express its potential, including its terpene profile, but I don't know of any biological mechanism that would allow a nutrient line to induce any...

Why are stigmas growing during veg stage?

Crap.. I missed your reply and proceeded to say basically the same thing. My bad.

Why are stigmas growing during veg stage?

Are we talking just a few popping out or a lot of them as would happen in full flower? Sexually mature female plants will almost always start to show even under 18+ hours of light but will not actually develop flowers. If they are actually going into full flower I'd suspect some autoflower...
