Ambient temperature is the temp of the room not inside the tent. 76 is totally fine I don't even know why we are discussing this if you are only at 76 lol. I keep seeing people suggesting a 6" filter but I have no idea why.

In my 4x2 right now I have my 4" fan and filter with 550w of led and I am about 5 degrees above ambient so I can't see a reason in the world you can't keep temps under control. What are ambient temps like?

So just to be clear, is there a proper centrifugal inline fan anywhere in this setup? I am of the opinion that with only that one light and such a small tent as long as ambient aren't out of control the 4" should work just fine. I think he just has it setup all wrong.

Just fyi I used a 4" inline fan and filter for a winter grow with "3600w" which was really like 1100w and it worked just fine. No smell at all.

Booster alone, it may work if there isn't a lot of heat but I would think 2 intake fans plus a booster fan for exhaust would create positive pressure.

Is it that hard to add the t, depot lol. I would imagine In a pinch they would be fine but if not in a hurry and the prices weren't THAT different I would go with a known commodity.

It cost me like $340 for a new in box 200w timber 3590 kit from eBay and whatever the quantum board cost me and like $20 in parts to put it all together. I have 2 more Vero 29s coming for the open spots next to the quantum board Which was like $140.

I went with both for my 4x2. I am happy with both up to this point.

So just to be clear if 2 different fans both blow 250cfm they are always going to be equal? I think you might believe that 250cfm is 250cfm and it doesnt change from fan to fan.

Please do explain to me why everyone doesn't use booster fans if they can provide the sort of impossible performance you are claiming? You are telling people who read this that it's a good idea to use booster fans instead of a proper inline fans. That's just bad advice.

Typically you would just have one fan for the carbon filter taking care of everything. Suck through the filter and exhaust out of the tent.
