    Beginning signs of Nute Burn?

Cool. Thanks. My ronoff pHes around 5.8 - 5.9 usually so I think I'm good.

    Beginning signs of Nute Burn?

Thanks. Great insight. I've actually been pH'ing too high I think. It's usually around 6.1-6.3 but I have also fed up to 6.5. I will avoid that on the next feeding and pH it down properly. Should I flush in between feedings or only when I suspect a problem? I have heard conflicting tek on...

    Beginning signs of Nute Burn?

Thanks for the tip. So even when growing in Promix HP, you should use cal-mag? Everything I read about it said it was unnecessary but that would explain the yellow spots forming on some of the leaves. I'll pick some up for their next feeding.

    Beginning signs of Nute Burn?

I have been searching for any signs of bugs/mites (using a 60x jewelers loupe) and haven't found any yet. Also, it is the dead of winter in my locale (northeastern USA) so bugs are mostly dormant. But this is the first time I've heard of adding neem oil to a feeding and it sounds very...

    Beginning signs of Nute Burn?

First timer here. I'm still trying to figure out a good feeding schedule. The plants are 25 days old and these spots just showed up the day after their last feeding. I pH'd and EC'd the feed before and after (runoff) and everything looked within acceptable ranges. So is this related to the...

What is this? What causes it? Should I be concerned?

Absolutely not. I've lived here for 15 years and never seen/had a cockroach problem. I appreciate the suggestion but just no lol.

Anyone Know What Bug This Is?

I found it walking across my grow table tonight. I have seen them before I was growing so I don't think they are specifically after my plants. The one I saw tonight wasn't even headed in the direction of the plants so it's probably not a direct threat but I just want to know what it is just in...

What is this? What causes it? Should I be concerned?

That sounds plausible as the foliage is beginning to fill out more and I have the fan on them most of the time. I'll check the airflow later when I get home.

What is this? What causes it? Should I be concerned?

Yeah it's just the one leaf so far as I can tell. I'll keep an eye on it.

EC 0.8 Too Low for Runoff?

This was runoff from a feeding. My tap EC is 0.2 EC. Post nutes the mixture is 0.6 EC. Are these normal/acceptable ranges for 3 week old plants?

    Identifying males

Hey all, OP here. One follow up question about sexing plants. How do the plants decide what sex to be? Is it pre-determined at the seed level or does something happen during growth that influences the sex one way or the other?

EC 0.8 Too Low for Runoff?

Hey all, first time grower, noob question incoming. As the title states, is EC 0.8 too low for 3 week old plants to absorb nutes? Is there such a thing as too low EC? My pH runoff is perfect (I think?) at 6.1. But I have read that 1.0-1.3 EC is ideal for plants close to veg or already in...

    Identifying males

Thanks for the answers all. This is my first grow. This site has been very helpful. I'm growing three different strains. The GSC are the only ones that are not feminized seeds so I want to catch males as early as possible.

    Identifying males

Hey all, I've heard that tall and lanky plants generally turn out to be males. How reliable is this? I have a couple plants that are looking tall and not growing very many leaves while others of the same strain are staying shorter and bushy. Here's some pics. Pay no attention to the names...

Are these signs anything to worry about?

Ok thanks. I'm growing in Promix with Mycorrhizae so I don't think overwatering will be an issue as it is a very porous medium. I'm growing Girl Scout Cookies, A-Train, and Apollo Haze.

Can you identify the sex of a plant and then keep it from flowering?

Alright man, be cryptic. I'll ask elsewhere.

Can you identify the sex of a plant and then keep it from flowering?

Why are males harder to spot than females? From the vids I've seen on youtube, it looks pretty obvious what's male and what's female.

Are these signs anything to worry about?

Hello, First time grower. I can't identify what's happening in these pics. I would appreciate any help or interpretation. Thanks in advance. First, this is probably nothing but I've seen it on a few leaves here and there so I just want to know what it is. The second looks like the leaf has...

Can you identify the sex of a plant and then keep it from flowering?

Thanks for the answers yall. My friend is very humbled to find that she was incorrect regarding sexual identification of marijuana plants.
