    plants drooping under new lights

With the grow i have going on right now, which is also my first grow ever lol I tried not to spend a great deal of money because I knew there would be mistakes. And mistakes there were. So as far as lights I've been using Great Value brand household LED bulbs (5000k and 3000k 13.5w/100w equiv.)...

    plants drooping under new lights

That's one thing that bothers me about LED's. It seems like you never really know what you're getting until you actually try it out

    plants drooping under new lights

Yeah I think it was a mix of them being pretty thirsty along with the abrupt change in the spectrum. I put some of the original 5000k bulbs in and left a couple 3000k bulbs to try and give them an easier transition. They were nice and perky this morning

    plants drooping under new lights

I know this is a very old thread but I'm experiencing the same issues. I switched the plants to flower and in the process I swapped alot of the 5000k leds to some 3000k leds thinking "they're in flower now so they'll need more red spectrum" but after leaving them under the new bulbs all day, i...

Alright guys, I gotta apologize for continuously updating this thread but this seedling is such an oddity and due to my lack of experience i couldn't even begin to assume why it's growing this way. First it started with 3 cotyledon leaves, then it shot out a 5 blade leaf right off the bat. Now...

I know this thread is somewhat old news but I just wanted to update the people that helped me out and show them what this retarded seedling is doing now. It appears as though it has skipped growing the single blade leaves and the 3 blade leaves and it's growing 5 blade leaves from the beginning...

There's one plant I have that I'd be willing to bet money on that it's an indica. It has all the signs of an indica plant. That one was easy to identify, but the rest of them im not too sure about

Here's a picture with the mutated leaf and a leaf from one of my other plants. The leaves on both plants look fairly similar with the mutated leaf plant maybe having slightly wider leaves

I do have a question that's off topic. All of these plants are bagseed variety. I don't know what strain any of them are. Is there any ways I can tell by looking at the leaves or anything, if the plant is either an indica dominant or sativa dominant plant? I know how to differentiate between...

I honestly don't know. I've just been using regular tap water and that one plant was the only one that did that and it was only that one leaf on the one specific node that's now like 3 or 4 nodes down the plant. It hasn't done it since then and it's been growing nice and vigorous for me so I'm...

I figured she'd be ok, I was just very perplexed with the way this seedling is growing. Very odd. This isn't the only "deformity" I've experienced with this grow. On one of my other plants I had a fan leaf grow that looked like a conjoined twin or something. It was really weird and cool lol

So I had one extra seed out of the 5 that I hadn't planted yet. Until about 4 days ago. Germed it and all that, stuck it in a solo cup with my growing medium. While moving around some stuff in the grow area I accidentally tipped the cup over spilling most of the soil out so I had to very...

Yellow tips on tips of leaves

Well it isn't ALL of the leaves. But the ones that have it have slight "clawing" (but not all of them though, some have it and still look healthy as can be). Could this be a lighting issue? PH maybe

Yellow tips on tips of leaves

What would cause the very tips of the leaves to turn yellow? Its only on the tips. Nowhere else. I've dealt with nute burn and after awhile the tips turned brown and eventually it spread to the rest of the leaf but this time they aren't turning brown or spreading to the rest of the leaf. Could...

    Is it possible?

That's mainly what I've been doing with this particular plant. I was just wanting to experiment a little and top one of the secondary shoots like I did with the main stem. I don't think the secondary that I topped will do anything though, I don't see why it would. Or would it?

    Is it possible?

Ok so I've been wondering the whole time I've been growing my plants. The "secondary shoots", or the branches that grow between the nodes. Can you top those with the same results as topping the main stem? Or would it just halt the growth of that particular shoot? I was very curious and went...

    What could this mean?

Oh man thank you so much. It makes me feel a lot better when someone with experience gives me their opinion because I feel so lost sometimes because I'll be on Google for hours trying to find my specific problem and come up with nothing so im sitting there just feeling defeated like a mf. Enjoy...

    What could this mean?

Ok, one question I have that has been bugging me for awhile. When you feed your plants with liquid nutrients mixed in water, do you let it run out of the bottom of the pot a little or do you give it just enough to soak into the soil? I've been growing these for a month or so and I still haven't...

    What could this mean?

I had a plant suffer from what im assuming was an iron deficiency. It looked terrible and the leaves started growing all ugly and deformed but i flushed the soil and only fed it straight water and it's bounced back so well
