Hard to compare the XML and XTE directly because of the different designs. They're both better than the DS, but neither are worth their current price. Once the A51 CXB units are available, I plan on taking the DS out and replacing it with a couple of them.

Thanks man. I had a couple of stud males that I wanted to keep growing to make some seeds with, but I decided this morning that I'll just keep it all sinsemilla for now. Lights in the pic are Advanced LED: DS-100, XML-150, and an XTE-100 to the right.

5 sprouts ready to go! -Silver Mountain (SSH x Appalachia) -Under the XML-150, but in a tent with 465 total watts. (12/12) -I'll be using most of my normal stuff for nutrients (Floranova, Magical, Thrive-Alive, Hydroplex, etc...) -Using Coco mix with a bit of perlite. (First try with coco!)...

While my seeds crack, I'm trying to decide between pro-mix bx and coco mix - both straight out of the bag. The pro mix would be a safe choice because I know the medium well enough now, but coco I've never tried in anything before.

What are you running in your veg tent?

Stick to HID for an area that large, especially if you've already got ducting and everything else. For now... I don't even think you could DIY something for an area that large with a $600 budget.

I like the that it has a dish-type housing instead of the stupid domes that other companies use.

My Dane is a little guy at only 110 lbs, but he's still plenty to handle.
