42 watt CFL's are the equivalent to 150 watts. If you're on a tight budget, periodically add a bulb here and there.....and don't shoot for putting three or four more plants into flower until you do. Ditch the "grow lights"...basically good for nothing when growing bud.

I'd aim to get three or four more 42 watt cfl's. You will get a feel for watering with due time. Some strains feed/drink more or less than others. Start light and go from there. Crazy as it sounds, good dirt isn't cheap, but you can get a rather large bag of quality soil for 18-20...

I would suggest you repot with another soil. The only thing I will use miracle gro soil for is the garden....mixed with my compost at that. If you are determined to use the miracle gro, amend it with some sand, vermiculite and perilite.

I don't know how easy it is to have "friends" while growing your own lil forest. I say the two just don't go hand in hand. Tell the jackass your place is not a fucking museum. That shit would have me livid for days on end.
