    Growmol light question

Obviously at some point the plant says hey theres too many light photons in the air for me to eat. At which point can we actually know how much photons at any given spectrum are actually taken up by the plant. damnit why cant i just be a plant who can communicate with you people.

    Growmol light question

Okay so if all you have is the one led then ride it out for now until you can snag a nice flowering light. I cant say anything bad or good about that light because I never used it but if its working for you and you don't have other options then ride it out for now... otherwise I would send it...

    Growmol light question

The top two would be Quantum boards or Cobs .. Like the CXB3590s or Veros then you can toss in some monochromatic for the other colors!

    Growmol light question

I'm going to guess your light has one or more drivers inside of it powering the lights. Along with a few fans and power supplies to power them. In most cases you can match the drivers to cobs or quantum boards. I took one apart that had 4 130v 630mA drivers which would make for a few options...

    Growmol light question

If you cant return it open it up and check out what type of driver it has. You may be able to use the guts with a qb.

I use an airstone without ph shift or any kind of issues so i think its why i havnt changed. Never tried it without one but i agree i do believe it would be just fine without it simply because of the constant flood cycles. I use generals 3 part and its just fine .. if you have swings then your...

    Titan Ebb&Flo 1200w indoor

Yea this would be the most ideal setup lol simply because its a pain in the ass to transplant hydro from any other container into a net lid once there all vegged.. That being said your veg room could be smaller just slam all the buckets closer together since there smaller plants.. Pricey but...

    Best LED for a 3x3?

Yea pcb stands for printed circuit board and essentially is a substrate to mount the leds onto As well as transistors and other stuff. So a quantom board is a pcb. The difference between pcbs for lights and pcbs for other things would be the material. You wont use a fiberglass pcb for your...

ARticle looks pretty botched i wouldnt take it that serious for many reasons. the first reason is if you go to that websight and look at the picture they posted theres what appears to be about 6 1000w hps lights all cooled with no movers right over a beautiful garden. Lol so why wouldnt they...

Yea 30% sounds more accurate. I like movers for vegging and short distances like you said. I hate trimming scrogged plants too but its worth it man

Using a light mover will not double your yield. Stationary lights are more then 50% effective

Thats a nice light. Ive been seeing those types of leds where there in rows. Are those better then the cree COBs or should i use them in conjuction? Id like to make a frame thats about 4' x 8'

THats a bold claim at 50% more yield. I wouldnt take that seriously. I will say light movers are nice...you can put lights closer to the plants and have even light coverage if you dont really rotate your plants and that will help your plants become bigger. It deffinately helps but you will not...

I Couldnt of said it better. Cobs are nice because you can add any spectrum to your final light. Adding multiple spectrums gives it a nice boost. I think growmau5 called it the emmerson effect. Another thing is that you can add ir light.. never seen this done but im curious. Watching his youtube...
