About the light source: would you be able to say, declare a 600w hps and X watts of cfl as side lighting, and remove the cfls when needed for heat issues? or does it have to be consistently the same amt of light? It would never go over the wattage declared in the first post, only lower.

Just saying got that light, came shipped in perfect condition reflector was only a little bent, i got the 600w one and it looks amazing! Testing it at lights on.

Thanks boss I thought it would be alot harder to do for sure! Got my fingers crossed for ya i hope it works! Just be sure to only put the part of the stem you want roots coming out of under the water, and changing the water and/ or giving the water a swirl every once and a while wont hurt!
