I'm getting ready to upgrade but I'm using a 2 year old Black Star 270 Chrome. I think the skies the limit if I upgrade to Area 52 or Platinum LED. Haven't made my mind up yet.
One plant. It was a Barney' Sweet Tooth Auto. Around 85 days or so. I decided to cut all the top goodness off when it was ready and let the mids and bottoms go for a while. That worked and worked great.
I have all kinds of nutes and shit I've picked up over the years. I mix different shit together all the time and I always get good results. I think the biggest thing is to not over do it.

Yea, I know. Seems like the whole LED market is sketchy. Check out a grow journal or two on 420 and read the replies from the owner of Platinum LED. Could be all bullshit but he puts more time in answering questions than anybody else I've seen selling lights. Haven't made my mind up for sure...
I think they put out a good light but I'll spend my money elsewhere. Area-51 isn't the only game in town. Besides, I can grow better plants with a BlackStar than most people can with the latest and greatest. Someone will emerge to fill the customer service void. I've been researching Platinum...
I have that exact one and it works good. Been thinking about one of these though.

Yea man, just don't get too anxious and chop early. You will be doing yourself a disservice. Let that thing go and keep an eye on the trichomes. When she's done, she's done. Not a week before.
The humidity meter isn't a must if you don't have a way to manipulate the humidity in the first place. My temp gauge is a dual temp/humidity gauge so I keep an eye on it. Can't do anything about the humidity but I keep an eye on it.
Hey man, the golden rules are don't tell, don't sale, and don't smell. He's starting out with one strike against him from the get go. I'm not being a dick, that's reality.
