    Led Users Unite!

Good morning! I got my heatpipes for the LEDs and I did noticed that the base is only 32x35mm as opposed to the CLU058 1825 which is 38x38mm I guess the best approach would be some copper backplate and then mount it to the heatpipe right? More thermal paste needed that way. I will be running the...

    Led Users Unite!

Hello, I have 40W 57V driver and I want to put one Citizen COB on that, but the LED is rated for 38V max. That means it is not safe to use it that way right? I have a good heatsink up to 150W of heat. Thank you

Best Way To Clean A Bong?

Acetone and salt is the way to go. Much better than iso and you can reuse it many times. It will evaporate quicky. Do not let it get onto your hands tho. As with any alcohol.

    Matching Drivers and COBs

Well you can put one CLU058 1825 on that. You better cool that chip down with water or some beefy CPU cooler though. It can be done but it is not efficient nor practical. Better off with more chips two or three. Or dim the driver down some. I want to put 2 of them on the HLG-150H-54B. That will...

Cheap and Cheerful DIY using Citizen cobs

Hello there, I'm thinking about building a 450W flowering light with 6x CLU048 1825 80CRI- 3000K or 3500k?. I have my eyes on MW HLG-150H-54 A as a power sources (3 of them). Some old Pentium 4 coolers (tower), put them all in ducting, get 3x Arctic 12 continuous fans (great fans with high CFM)...

DYI LED for 2x4 veg tent

Hello man, there are better LEDs than Cree CXB3590. Check out Citizen CLU058 1825 or CLU048 1818. Here is thread about the lights: https://www.rollitup.org/t/top-bin-cob-comparison-2.897765/page-7 The CLU3618 can do even 300W single chip but you will need some serious CPU active cooling and...

White Widow...the joy of joint smoking

Arizer Air is great portable vape and you can replace the battery in it. Problem with vapes is that the smoke gets pretty hot, but there are aftermarket bubblers and bong adapters. Vaping is the real baking. Also you do not need to hold it in the lungs for longer than 5 seconds. Just my two...
