Not really. The 561C in 5000K 80 CRI, AZ, S6 at 65ma is 212.6 lpw. Not much of a increase. That is a less than one half percent increase in lumens. You could lose more lumens per watt in the driver selection.

If you use the Samsung calculator and run the numbers it comes out as the S6 diode. I think that is what I ran it at. But you can reverse engineer it on the calculator to figure it out with the data sheet numbers if I am wrong.

The number of diodes does matter. You will need a shit ton to do a grow. The more you have the lower you can drive them and the better your efficacy will be.

How do you plan to hang a flexible roll? You need something to attach it to. The strip comes with that already attached so you need nothing to stick it to just a frame. The strips and the tape have the same diodes so they will run the same if the same current and voltage are applied to them.

LEDs are not the same as HPS or DE. But both have there place as does LED. I believe LEDs will save you money in the long term but if you cant afford them what is the point? Therefore if you are low on cash you may be better off getting HPS. But all this has been hashed out before.

They use the same chips but in a different amount and a different pattern. The nature of LEDs allow for a multitude of variations in layout, efficacy, and power usage. But the QB and these strips are running the same chips.
