I was asking about curing larger spears intact vs. breaking them apart into smaller nugs after drying for optimum cure. I take it from your reply that it makes no difference. I was wondering if there might be some effect on curing. I still am.

I've got some rather dense and fairly decent sized xmas tree shaped spears. After the drying period is over, do you break up the spears into smaller "buds" before putting them in a mason jar for curing? My spears look a little large to just place in a curing jar. Some of my spears are 4.5"...

4-3-8 N-P-K. You need more Nitrogen. I would suggest you use something with a higher nitrogen content to feed that plant. That formula is more like what people use during the flowering cycle, not the growing cycle.

Temps need to come down. See if adding a 4" intake fan with ducting at the bottom helps. Maybe try putting that carbon filter past the fan instead of in front of it. Hot air will at least have a chance to run freely thru the ducting a little ways before entering the filter.

If stealth is the key and you're gonna use hot running HPS, cooling down the area with intake fan and exhaust fan is gonna be heard by your neighbors.

I have same tent size and same 4" exhaust fan ducted at top. For my intake, I just used a 120mm computer fan and was able to attach it to the intake hood at the bottom. If you have a intake hood at the bottom, you can use the cinch straps to hold the fan. It actually puts in more air than my 4"...

For growers...there should be something better than insulated ducting that's fiberglass only . Something better sound absorbing than just weather insulation fiberglass...which is ok but very so-so at sound absorption.
