Hi there. I bought one of their kits back in April and it's good to get you up and running. The tents are adequate and everything you need is right there. You may want to upgrade in the future though as most of the components are no name made in china.
Hold off on the CO2 for now. You need an airtight closed environment for it to really work. I'd say get yourself setup and dialed in before you consider it.
I'm sorry for the loss. I'm glad you didn't blame your friend. I've seen sooo many people blame their friends for a lost crop because it all went south when they trusted their friend and went on vacation.

Read up first. Then decide on size of tent. You can find a complete kit which takes out a lot of hassle, but you'll do better quality wise if you buy it piece by piece. Make sure you leave some $ for nutrients, beanz, etc.

You're talking about one 600w bulb in one reflector. That's what I run in a 3x3 tent. My fan has a shit controller and is either high or low. On low I have a lot, not too much, negative pressure and the exhaust temperature is slightly warmer than ambient. I'm in a condo and my average temps are...
