The Chinese Quantum Board Knock Off Builds

Interesting. That's how I was thinking the effect would be. The thing about getting them custom is; I'm only lighting a 1m x 2m area with 2 of them. The pre built 4 bars are 480 watts each. 2 of them next to each other would be a pretty decent spread of light compared to what I was originally...

Nice one Chris. See those Umol figures, what's that all about? Are they using a different array of Leds or what? Any idea about that company also? Anyone ever ordered from them?

The Chinese Quantum Board Knock Off Builds

Yea true indeed. Especially with the strip lights because there seems to be no reviews on the site, quite a few for the boards though. There's a premium on the strips too it seems, which makes me even more indecisive.... I'm wondering what are people's thoughts on the strips? Like I say...

Okay, understood. Diode count. I need all this info. Makes sense looking at it again. on the 90cm one they're not as densely populated. But what about this. 110cm heat sink, 2 x 56cm pcbs, 112pcs + CREE 660nm: 8pcs $60 They've also got the same with added UV for another $10.

Thanks for the help everyone What's the most efficient strip available at the moment? Invisible sun and Diyleduk are out of stock. Not sure how to navigate the digikey site just yet. What are these like 140W Strip compared to the leduk/invisible sun strips? Thanks again

So if you could rewind, would you buy the strips over the boards to get that spread? Ok I get that's more wattage for the money, but are you paying a premium for the spread coverage and heat dissipation of the bar style lights? Bear in mind I was going to put three of the strip style into...

Thanks man. So will the output of the strips I linked not be enough for any decent penetration? This is where I'm a bit lost. If they're the same diodes, why would they be a weaker light?

Someone else linked me to those and said they were the SF4000 equivalent. Are the ones you're talking about from a different seller? Do you rate the Meijiu ones higher?
