Buy a 400 hid lamp that is air cooled...not a cool tube! and you can have a harvest of around 10 to 16 oz if done right and even if you only went with a 250 you could still get at least 2-4 oz...I got 5 my first time, but then ...I know what I'm doing!...at least I think I do.

If you think that growing is too much work, then why did you bother in the first place? and NO! darkness wont do a thing in terms of potency...you need to be at least 6 weeks into flower before your buds have any real value...and only 40 watts of power wont yield Jack shit...ok at best to start...

I would also say, about 2-3 more weeks...but I would get a scope and look at the tricks to really determine when ready...looking good for the amount of light used though.

How many plants are you growing? what kind of lights do you have? if this is a lone plant...I would have let it veg for at least 1more week if not 2 depending on light set-up and space...anyway you should start to see pistils form very soon...please tell us more about your set-up and goal, please.

I hate to burst your bubble, but it's 8oz total! not per person...and I agree, I hope they allow 4 mature plants and said amount of immature plants...I wish it was 8 oz per person though.

When a female throws a nanner or two that late into flowering...it's because of stress, but any seed you get will be feminized. I had some Blueberries do the same thing and I got 8 seeds out of the grow, planted three outdoors and had a wonderful harvest

Well if you count the water content and do 6 two month flowering runs a year...you ( MIGHT ) get 2 pounds of (wet) plant matter...but by the time you dry it and clean up the buds, you may only get 1/4 oz of dry smokeable bud...but no way in HELL will you ever get 2 lbs of dry plant...

With a set up like that and the low light output from the bubs, you might get lucky with a 1/4 oz...if you can, get a 2x2 tent and a 250 to 400 watt hid light, you will get so much more from your investment...a lot more.

I would truly appreciate, when the plant shows it's full sex (with no doubt about it) if you could please let all of us know weather it's a boy or girl...I still say girl.
