Coco is super easy for beginners, in my mind. It’s an empty sponge, beginners basically just need to pick a nutrient line to try. It’s resistant to over-watering and getting root bound (and small containers make big plants), resistant or unwelcoming to a lot of pests, and is reusable.

I like it, I take it back. I’ll say that the plants that showed pistils early ended up flowering the hardest.

Have had photos show pistils at 4-6 weeks plenty. Calm down! Even if you got autos, it’s not end of the world, you can always work with your seed supplier to remedy.

One was topped at node 5 and the other at node 2, so one has extensive LST and a couple of super cropped spots to keep the canopy equal with the other. It was a pain, I’d do them again both at node 2 again (the Uncle Ben method specifically) and limit the amount of LST it needs.

3 weeks since flip in 100% coco, 2.25gal pots

Coco loves small pots. You just have to feed them a lot... I have a 4ft tree in a 2.25 gal pot, they are fertigated 6x daily now I also use a bit of calmag with every tank.

Crazy. I have. 4x4x7.5 Vivosun I paid 120 US for and it is rock solid with steel frame and has been taken down and put up 5-6 times now.

Oxygen will dissolve and can drop ph by a point or two (0.1-0.3ph). And you are losing oxygen from your water. Just get some ph down, even if it drops a whole digit to 7 you are still above soil and hydro ranges.
