I googled a bit and I found that you can lower pH with coffee grounds. Should I use coffee grounds to lower the pH of the soil?

So my pH meter arrived and EC meter, as well as a moisture/Ph meter for soil. My Ph in the soil is around 7 to 8 and the pH in my tap water is around 7.4. When I add nuts to my water to water my plants the EC meter is at 270. What would you guys say? Are the results okay or what can I do?

Okay, I will let the undergrowth grow more, and then I will wait for the plant to get a bit taller, after that, I will transplant and etc.

Oh quick question, how long should I leave my plants tied down(LST)?
