And the whole idea of doing this setup so it makes checking/adding nutes easier as well as have a more stable ph level. Pulling mature flowering plants out of a 5 gal bucket every day gets old after awhile lol

It’s a tight fit now lol, two on left are in 5 gal buckets, two on right are crammed next to each other in a 27 gal tote haha. Those ones were my shitty ones tho, just wanted to experiment with the bigger tote

OP keep us updated, curious how you turn out. For now I’m just going to use 4 totes to finish out the rest of flowering my current DWC crop then build out the “fallponics” setup like discussed here in this thread

So.. I'm going to build a similar setup as this. Just picked up 5 12gal HDX totes today. Wanted to get a parts list of stuff I need. I already have the bucket lid net pots, just need to cut the holes in the HDX tote lids. Quick question, where do you guys get the good 2" bulkheads from?

For an HPS, you'd likely want to ventilate that heat elsewhere in that small of a space. LED's work, but there is a huge difference between the cheapo blurple lights and say higher end QB's. I'm sure others will chime in as well

Yea some people go the entire grow without cleaning the totes or buckets. I have a 600 in a 4x4 tent and so far it's doing alright, if I had to do it over though I might as well go with a 1000 watt light since I have a exhaust fan big enough to help keep temps in check. My house is also a split...

Yea - I recently did like a week long timelapse of my plants and it's cool to see them perk up a bit before the light comes on, then about an hour before lights out they start drooping down getting ready for "bed" lol

Cool man, I was just wondering that I as I was going through your thread here. Also, how often are you changing your buckets out for fresh nutes? I started with 4 plants in 5 gal buckets, but it was such a pain in the ass to stay on top of each individual bucket, changing my buckets out etc etc...

Looks great, I think our crops were started right around the same time or very close to it. Stupid question.. does the official flower date start as soon as you switch to 12/12 or do you have to wait for buds to start developing and then base your schedule around that? I switched mine to 12/12...
