    Is this bud finished growing?

You could always harvest top of plant first and let the lower bud sites develop for those extra weeks too. no rule saying you have to harvest all at once! be easy, :leaf:

    Is this bud finished growing?

I'd say they're definitely harvestable. If you've got a preference for trich ratios let 'em go a little longer, but seems totally fine if you wanted to chop them right now. Be easy! Nice work! :leaf: :peace:

    Been A while...time for some 12/12

Time to catch up on the events. I ended up with 3/4 Northern Lights which I topped Uncle Ben style. Two responded normally and one which was the super sluggish one, shot out 3 instead of 4 colas. That was a while ago, and they're 2-3 weeks away from being done. Decent growth, seems pretty happy...

need help understanding the drying and curing phase... "ed rosenthal's growers book"

i think there's still an application for specifically a FROST-FREE freezer vis-a-vis curing. That same ed rosenthhal book, along with some sporadic commentary on fora and other interweb spaces got me interested in this and so I've been trying it out: you can chop and dry and trim your bud...

So here's whats happening: I went to plant out a Dieselicious I had soaked when it looked like my last nebula wasn't going to pop. I went to plant my dieselicious and found little nebula cotelydons emerging from the planter. So i scrambled up some modified hempy mix with some OC plus, erected a...

    Air- Pot Club

Quick question for you airport folks-- if I fill my 2 gal air pot with hempy mix and stick it in a 5 gal bucket, does this kinda give me a modified hempy/sip setup? I think I'll pop an air stone in the bottom of the 5 gal and see if I can use this method to go longer between waterings...what do...

As I mentioned, i've been having trouble with germination--probably some old seed stock. In any case, decided to switch it up and go back to an 18/6 veg, top once, then flower, except this is going to be tricky since I have one dieselicious I'm wating for germination on, one nebula that just...

So 2/4 NL from 00 Seeds popped last week sometime; starting two more (nebula from paradise) to see if I can get 4 girls going to make up for the poor germ. rate. I soaked in a solution of fish hydrolysate (1tsp/cup water) for 24 hours then into moist soil, watered in. For the nebulas I'm just...

Yeah i never really understood the theory of layered soil but then again, it never seemed to really cause problems in the runs I've done with my own amended and cooked soil blends. So, here, I just mixed it all together and will now have some pretty rich soil (1/3) with some fairly even soil...

by hot I just mean too much nutrients, generally N-burn, not the temperature of the soil.

Hmm, i was under the impression that SS can be too hot for seedling roots, not the case? last I checked the people running supersoil mixes were using something a little lighter in the top half of their containers--what's the data on this? or are yall saying that because it's been cooking for so...

How many plants can I grow with a 750 watt LED light?

used to be 100w/plant with HID; not sure what present consensus is, especially for LED, but be prepared with your light's specs for when the LED folk get back to you. Nonetheless, 100w/plant is a decent rule of thumb; of course, the wattage isn't really what you care about with an LED, its the...

Why is my new growth growing like this?

probably a bit rootbound with that much foliage; looks like you did a bunch of training to encourage wide growth with 'multi-cola' production, lst you said right? So along with your nutrient dialing in, I'd recommend potting up just before going into 12/12 and be ready for staking your blooms as...

Recycled Organic Living Soil (ROLS) and No Till Thread

Hyroot, what's good man? Those buckets look sweet, self watering it looks like. i've tried these with tomatoes. anyway you could shoot me a link to when you started using these or what you're build is? I might get back into self-watering designs for my late summer runs and would love to get a...

Hey RIU, Been absent a while, mostly because of work but thought i'd throw up an organic 12/12fs thread and update somewhat lackadaisically Gonna do a godberry from freedom of seeds, og kush from dinafem, and a couple of norther lights (i think #5?) from 00seeds. Don't know a thing about this...

    fabric pots vs plastic pots

the only two 'benefits' i've noticed in comparing airpots and fabric/smart pots, the airpots are easier to clean at the end, and you can leave them in a water catch tray and allow the plants to wick up water through the bottom. While this second benefit is technically possible with smart pots...
