Either or. Some say a week at 18/6 provides better root structure (bigger plant more bud) and some say the difference is negligible. When I do 12/12 from seed, I do actually sneak in a week of 18/6 at the beginning. I have no evidence of any scientific fact to support my choices. :-)

@Unripped has it right. I've never seen another product that is as affordable as Jack's, and do the job that it does.

I can honestly say I haven't the slightest idea.

I grew out the Strawberry Kush from Robert Bergman (ILGM) and it smelled like that fake artificial strawberry gum smell dipped in fuel. Tasted the same way. I was very impressed. Bought more just the other day.

I don't think this method is so much about disrupting auxins, it is about simply providing more light to shaded areas of the plant. Just my two-cents after knowing about this for an entire two days.

Quick question for some past BB customers: I placed an order on Nov 13th, paid by PayPal, and I received email confirmation from PayPal the order went through. I still haven't received an email for the order, or a shipping notice from BB. Just wondering if this is standard operating procedure...
