I have great success using water cup+ paper towel method. 12hrs in the cup of distilled water then 12hrs in damp paper towels between two paper plates inside a plastic bag. I put it on my cable box and check every 4 hours. Rarely takes the full 12.

Hell yea it does. When I first started learning to grow I talked to her about all of it I knew if I was going to do it, she would have to be OK with it. She wasn't happy with the money part of it at first but I was like its way better than going out and buying it off someone.

I put weather stripping around both my cab door and the closet door so that everything creates a good seal. When you open the closet you get a good whiff. Lol.

I've never grown with anything else, but highly doubt I'll change even as I get larger personal grows. I never have to worry about heat stress or high temps, not to mention the energy costs. If I run the light 24/7 for a year, it will only cost around $40. About 3-4 bucks a month.
