Interesting? Samsung Shifts Focus: Exit from LED Business to Prioritize Semiconductor

Just a guess. I don't know but I would think the leds have positive cash flow so someone will pay something for it and Samsung aint stupid they are going to sell it if they can and someone will buy it if it makes money and then probably ruin it using cheaper materials, etc. But if Samsung...

Interesting? Samsung Shifts Focus: Exit from LED Business to Prioritize Semiconductor

I'd guess their LEDs wont just stop, but they will sell the LED business and someone else will make them as they are today without improving them any more.

Interesting? Samsung Shifts Focus: Exit from LED Business to Prioritize Semiconductor

Damn. First all the great Japanese engineering firms disappeared, and now it's the great South Korean firm. What do they want to make that is growth oriented? Don't LEDs save energy and isn't that a growth area, saving energy?

    A/C ?

Just did a search and there are some 6k btu mini splits and since some are variable they can slow down to 2k btus.

    Needs Nitrogen?

Awesome! Do you think they might be saying thanks I needed that but please don't give me too much (leaf curling)?

    Needs Nitrogen?

Yeah you might be right about Mg not Ca, I go back and forth on those a lot not being sure. I'm no expert but that leaf you show close up does seem to me again on first guess either Ca def if you didn't say your water is high Ca, or I've read somewhere that sometimes a papery brown spot is P...

    Needs Nitrogen?

I have no outdoor cannabis experience but I will play. First of all, nice plants. I only see the deficiency on newer leaves except for the one on the right foreground so I'm going to say not N def on the others. Are they all same strain? So theoretically I think you are looking for an...

Thoughts on VPD? I'm not sold on it.

Shouldn't you increase the nutes when you lower the vpd to 0.9, so that nutrient uptake is the same as what works well for you at 1.4 vpd? Hard to control that unless hydroponic. Or alternatively, if someone is in soil and always getting lockout, then perhaps keep the soil mix as is and lower...

    LST early flower

I don't defoliate my solar panels on my indoor lst's and I'm happy with the lower buds. Though I never tried defoliating my lsts, lol. I think you'll be good. Just don't let any leaves or branches touch the dirt. Looks like you have enough airflow to avoid mold imho.

Old School Skunk, who's found it???

Believed there was ghani or indica in it due to the round buds. But no rubber/garlic detected by me in that skunk of yore. Just noticed a little chocolate taste in the Columbia Gold x Skunk18 as well.

Old School Skunk, who's found it???

Enjoying a Columbia Gold x Skunk18. It's skunky and sweet, very sativa but big trichs. The holy grail skunk I'd pray for again wasn't sweet, but it wasn't opposite of sweet. It was pure skunk smell but at the same time pleasant, like almost wanted to turn sweet but it took a right turn and...

    Drying and Curing using vpd

Sorry, It sounds like I be irritating you. Better than a dead thread though, right? Anyhow, I'm not changing my methods, I'm improving them on my limited budget but can do attitude. In my case my main takeaway from what you described is that I can target vpd during drying, instead of rH. I...

    Drying and Curing using vpd

So here was error. It still makes sense to me that if 0.8 vpd is desired, then at 80F I would want 77% rH, at 70F 68%, and at 60F 55%. But for curing, when you want air to accept no moisture from bud, you might think you want 0 vpd. But yeah, that is at 100% rH which sounds a little crazy...

    Drying and Curing using vpd

Oh thank you so much for correcting me! For some reason I was saying 1.0 vpd would be total saturation. I should have meant to say about 0 vpd is what you want in cure.

    Drying and Curing using vpd

Using that info, if 0.8 vpd is desired, at 80F I would want 77% rH, at 70F 68%, and at 60F 55%. And then for curing we don't want to lose any more moisture I imagine, so target 1.0 vpd: 80F:72% , 70F:60% ,60F:44% or a little higher % to be on the safe side, < 1 vpd 44% at 60F is a surprise to...
