    DWC or COCO COIR

we all got different experiences, i respect your right to your opinion, doesn't mean others don't have good results, just like the guy you called out for blaming nutrient ratios on his failure- just because he might've failed doesnt mean you couldnt do better with the same product if you wanted...

Paint floor waterproof? Grow cab build help

i mean its a tent in a basement.. whos gonna see it? even if someone does all you say is its a pop up wardrobe to keep some extra clothes you have from getting dusty/mildew.. and if you really felt the need you could build a quicky-wall to cover it, save you the trouble of painting, sealing...

    DWC or COCO COIR

To keep it short and sweet- DWC has great results with only mild maintenance needed. COCO has great results too with even less maintenance, my advice is go coco with a drip-to-drain setup. I've used dynagro nutes for years and love them, not sure why someone said the bloom ratio is bad for...

    Temps

not sure what LEDs you use but most reputable brands have IR diodes... i use Advanced Platinum LEDs and every model they offer includes IR, i run my lights at night so my "daytime" temps are 75-80 and "nighttime" temps at 65-70, my plants love it.

Paint floor waterproof? Grow cab build help

Im all for building things, dad was a carpenter for 50 years so i picked it up from him, but for a 2x2x6 i would honestly just go with a tent? is there a reason you dont want to go with a tent? 2x2 tents only cost like 40$

I GOTTA LOSE THE AIR PUMPS! HOW?! Plus my awesome mini DWC :)

Worst case scenario just build a soundbox for the air pumps. inch thick MDF box with a removable lid lined with sound dampening foam, put pumps in, run your power and air lines, fill remaining space with shredded sound dampening foam, put lid on. i built one to house my exhaust fan and between...

Exhausting to outside in a basement.. ?

Hmm i havent run into too many basements with fireplaces so the chimney question is interesting, honestly itll probably be a good thing because youll have fresher air with better c02 quality than you would without the chimney in there... In order to assess the situation better we would need to...

    Perpetual garden, pot sizes

Also just as a side note, i used to do all kinds of training on my plants and i always keep journals of my grows, throughout my various trials and tribulations ive found that training never made that big of a difference, in most cases a majorily trained plant produces barely a 1/4oz more than an...

    Perpetual garden, pot sizes

I veg in the same area as the clones, they dont take much space when theyre that small, so i do the 4 plants in bloom at any given time offset by appx 25days, i keep 4-6 mothers just to have a variety of strains to choose from. when i take clones i typically take 2 from each mother at a time so...

How to control odour in balcony grow

I would defienntly go with the greenhouse idea, this is a link to one i used for clone/veg a few years back -greenhouse, you could easily cut some holes for intake/exhaust and run a carbon filter, i know ill catch shit for this comment because its not the "right way" but in your circumstances i...

Heads up guys watch your power consumption

This is why its good to have extra "hobbies" as well. in the event that someone ever look at and questioned my power consumption id simply have to inform them "well i have a hot tub, a steam cabinet (a personal sauna), a hydrogen production system, a rife machine, various industrial power...

    Perpetual garden, pot sizes

rather than worry about your veg time gap why not essentially eliminate it? thats pretty much the point of growing perpetual... like I currently run a stealth tent thats overall size is 3x2x5 with a 2x2x5 bloom room, running 4 plants in 2 gal pots using coco/perlite mix with a floraflex watering...

    2-in-1 tent suggestions

Just wanted to come back and update, I went with a Secret Jardin L100, its their updated version of the L90, has a slightly larger footprint & headroom coming in @ 39"x24"x62", the divider is sewn in rather than velcro like most 2-in-1's and the best feature is you get to pick where to put your...

Drip system question, please help <3

Good evening all, Today id like to ask for some help with psi calculations and/or general drip knowledge, Ive done DWC and EnF for years and at one point converted my EnF setup to be a drip to waste and while it worked fine, i dont think i did it the "right way". Im setting up a new grow and...

    2-in-1 tent suggestions

Hey guys, today im in the market for a 2-in-1 tent and im interested in hearing from people who have actually purchased them to give some feedback. I currently own 4 others tents from various makers in various sizes, but im getting ready to move to a much smaller living situation and the new...

    Grow room issues

Hey there. Ive read the OP but not all the replies so i apologize if someone else already covered this but here goes! First things first, your shed doesn't appear to be insulated at all, that should be one of the first things you want to take care of, insulate the walls and ceiling, then...
