    light help

If you can take a temperature from right under the light but in the shade of the leaf or something. Pretty sure with cooltube 1000w should still be 20-24 inch away. But try the hand thing under your light also.

    light help

If you don't have a cooltube id imagine it'll fry them. Put the back of your hand at the top cola height and see if you can leave it there for 30 sec without feeling uncomfortable. Can you pull/bend them over and tie them down to the edge of their pots?

Plants sagging only at the end of light cycle in veg, before and after pics.

So these are new pictures, 10 minutes after lights turned on, swapped the middle one and left one around to try avoid more heat in the center.

    What would you do???

Only thing i can help you with is your 10oz allowance. I grow 2 plants under a 400w mh/hps setup and can get close to 10oz. You're going to go way over if you have 4 plants.

Little bit of a smell leak going on. You think this is my issue?

Can't tell if trolling or actual serious? If serious, that hole wouldn't matter if you had a good exhaust fan and room was at negative pressure.

Yeap, willing to try anything at this stage. I've raised the lights to 22inch and will see if they recover and slowly drop it back to 18.

Plants sagging only at the end of light cycle in veg, before and after pics.

They're in 6l pots, they get almost a 1000mls each, which creates a tiny bit of run off. There's a shit load of perlite, like 40% so drainage is great.

Plants sagging only at the end of light cycle in veg, before and after pics.

24c is 75 Fahrenheit which is perfect isn't it? Yeah, ill raise it a bit and see if it makes a difference, if it does then ill lower it slowly until it starts showing signs again and back it off. Thing is they'll be back to normal after their dark period which is in 15min.. after 6 hours of dark...

What is the most affordable way for a newbie to start small?

You could go a HPS with balast all the way through. Would generate heat so wouldn't have to use a heater and just run the lights during your night time, then off when its warmer during the day. When you get enough $$ buy a MH bulb for it and use that during veg and Hps for flowering. LED will...

Plants sagging only at the end of light cycle in veg, before and after pics.

Yeah dude, the thing thats fucked is that me lowering the lights to 14inches made them do this, so i raised them back to 18inches and thought that'll fix it but they're still doing it now, Nothings changed and they've been awesome up until i lowered the lights 3-4 days ago that triggered this...

    First Grow. Any Suggestions?

No worries. Yeap, i only learnt that this current grow of mine as i've never had MH before just used HPS right through. Google it if you want more info on it but from what i gather it reduces stretch.

Plants sagging only at the end of light cycle in veg, before and after pics.

I know, that's what it looks like to me, but it happens no matter if they've been watered or not. I tend to pick up the containers and see how heavy they are. The top inch is cold and a little moist, but i don't think they need water yet as they're heavy. and only happening to 2 plants.

    First Grow. Any Suggestions?

Looking good dude, i'd be flipping very shortly depending on stretch of those girls. Generally you want to fill 70-80% of your screen then flip. Keep your MH bulb in for 1-2 weeks after you flip to 12/12 then go HPS if you have one, it'll reduce the stretch dramatically.

    Watering

You should plant in jiffy cups or small containers first and transplant 2 times. This makes the roots go looking for water/moisture and gives you more roots which equals more yield :) I go from small pots to 6L then into 20L fabrics to finish.

Plants sagging only at the end of light cycle in veg, before and after pics.

I have a wee "Probe" thats tucked up in the canopy under the leaves so that gives me a true reading, which is the lower number on the temp gauge. The area is only 2x4x6ft so thats more than enough air exchange :) I fed with nutrients just 3 days ago and it was only half strength. I could've...

So i'm having a wee issue and not sure if its a major problem but it seems they are happy when the lights first turn on for the first 7hours they seem to be okay, i check them in the morning when i wake up a couple hours before lights off and 2 of them are sagging. 400w MH @ 18 inches away...

Yeah i figured, it happened straight after i moved the lights, I have them back up at what they were at (18Inch) Will the recover and go back to normal or just stay like that? So that means i can't lower my lights lower than 18 inch? I tried 14 and 16 and they both made them canoe. I have a 2...
