This is true. There is a guy on here (cant remember his name) who grows autos and says he transplants and tops his autos. He has huge yielding auto with pics to prove it.

I wouldnt recommend transplanting autos. I always soak my auto seeds for 24 hours then plant straight into soil. Good luck.

I wouldnt start in small pots either. One of the things that autoflower growers will tell you is never transplant autos. It can slow grow. And since it only vegges for a very short period you would be robbing it of its full potential. I was taught to always start autos in their final pot.

Indeed a very difficult question to answer. I had a critical kush entire grow that started ambering hairs around week 4. Thought it may have been pollinated. Went another 5 weeks and finally no seeds no nothing. So get a loupe, inspect thichs and chop when content with those numbers.

Ive used subs super soil for my last few grows. And i try to get little to no run off. Runoff in super soil just leeches the nutrients from the super soil. This is also the recommendation of subcool himself.

Ive used air pots, root pouches and nursery pots. The air and root pouches seem to perform better and grow a healthier plant. Though nursery pots do fine as well. You do have to do more watering with the two but im a hands on type person so i don't mind. Gonna find a pic of my ladies in those...

I always start counting immediately after the flip. But it always seems to take 5 to 10 days longer than breeders recommendation. Sometimes even longer especially with autos. Just get a loupe and watch the trichomes. Theyll tell you when shes ready.

I had the same situation a couple of grows ago. Mine show we d browning pisitils around week 4 of flowering. Searched the net and as you it was all dooms day. I figured id been pollinated. In the end it was nothing. Panicked for no reason. Great tield, smoke and nost of all no seed.
