I don't think anybody really knows how much a plant needs. But in soil some people think there's enough naturally. In dwc with ro water there's none. But I get crazy thick stems using it, and that means more uptake and bigger flower potential. But 4 pounds of agsil is 20ish dollars I believe...

Absolutely no need to pay hydro store prices. Agsil is reasonably priced. May not be necessary. In my opinion I see a difference with it. With ro water my ph is always low so I'll be adjusting the amount I use to dial ph right at 6.0. Then adjust using the sulfuric acid down to 5.5 and let it...

The white stuff is fine just mix the soil briefly before use. If you're gonna use tea just use an aact tea. In dwc I brew with ro water, a tablespoon of ewc, tablespoon of Alaska humus, and a tablespoon of sucanat (dehydrated molasses).. Usually brew with a couple gallons of water and I dump the...

Ec is pretty high on my opinion. I wouldn't run any higher than 1.4 or so.

superkuts test grow of "gorilla grape"

How'd it turn out? I got super kutz gorilla grape clone from san Jose, can't find any specific info relating to that cut. Is it a pheno of outlaws seeds?

How early is the yellowing happening? You can top dress with more mix half way through or use a bigger pot. What ingredients are you using to brew your tea? I found molasses to induce some early yellowing. Now a days I've been running my raw salt hydro formula in dwc. So I go full strength all...

Mine I posted works very well. You can tweak the application rate of the silica to get your ph perfect. On mix in ro ph is 7.0 with full strength silica. I'm sure if you lower it or drop it you can dial it to 5.7 with no adjustment

If you're worried just put the top couple of inches regular roots original then the rest the mix

Dyna-Gro vs Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur (AK47 Grow)

Thanks. I don't log it here, I do it on another (private not public) forum. But it has the recipe here. I found subcools to be way too hot and I could taste it in the final product. Mine ran out of gas just in time for harvest. On my raw salt mix the ph with everything is 7.0.. But if you...

Fill it up. It might be a little hot for a freshly sprouted seed, so start the seed in plain roots originals then transplant at least a couple weeks after sprout

Dyna-Gro vs Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur (AK47 Grow)

In my opinion you'd be financially better off making your own raw salt formula.. Raw salts if you're sourcing your own ingredients are just as good as organics. They're considered natural, it's hard to get a lot of natural things officially labeled organic. But you can (if you wanted) basically...

Yes, the purpose is to give it enough to carry through at least 2 months of flower with no deficiencies. Roots original will carry it for a month at best. Yes that's how I do mine, outside works best. Neem will help protect your soil from pests (just like neem oil sprayed on plants). It also...

    Clone only strains

I had given up taking in clones years ago cuz I've been clean and wanted to stay that way.. But I need something new to fit my medical needs.. Being a high cbd strain, and I figured if I'm taking in New cuts, may as well grab some others to give them a try.. So a couple weeks so I grabbed...

In hydro if you're not using all chelated micros, but only chelated iron, the other sulfur based micros can essentially steal the chelate from your iron rendering your iron useless, resulting in iron deficiency

yes you want to create your own 'additive' as i listed in original post and not use the presets, so the percentages match your product. i do all individual micros with hydro buddy, you can also buy a premix "STEM" but i find the ratios to be not ideal. but as long as you create your own salts...
