I was actually looking into it and UV has been proven several times to greatly effect THC accumulation. It seems to only effect THC though and none of the other cannabinoids. Want me to post up a few scholarly papers? She looks beautiful btw. :)

Variegation is definitely a negative trait - loss of photosynthetic pigments will never really benefit a plant, but at the same time it's a novelty and people like novelties. I've seen completely white buds, and although I've never smoked them I assume someone's interested in the bag appeal...

I've run 2x 1kW in a 4x8, 1kW in a 4x4, and 600w in a 4x4. Right now I'm growing with a 600w in a 5x5 panda film DIY tent along with a CFL veg tent (ebay 4x4x6.5 on it's side).

Yeah... if you get pulled over and they want to look you're kinda fucked. Don't get pulled over :) I always put my plants in large black garbage bags while moving in which case visually it's not as obvious. But if they open the back of a uhaul I assume they'd smell the girls.

How far are you going to be traveling? I've personally transported large mature plants many times without issue but it's definitely nerve racking and I live in CA which is lax as fuck. How far off are they from being done? And congrats on the explosive growth!

Yeah... it would be nice if there was a single simple test to determine when they are done but it really depends on so many variables. Different strains mature differently, heat and humidity influence ripeness, UV, nutrients... Some strains are ready at 80% cloudy 20% amber, others at 80%...

I hate my HTG ballast and love my Lumatek. Actually I like both my Lumatek ballast and my Lumatek bulb - at least over a Hortilux or Phillips.
