I let my plants get to the wilting stage occasionally(outdoors only,indoors no) and have never had a problem with any sort of bug when wilted( or not.) I just like to get the soil totally dryed out once in a while.

My gorilla bombs have unusually thick stems(main) It is just incedible as plants are almost 2 months and stem is 1-1/2 diameter,this is typical with all 12 of them. Normal stem size on rest of garden is around 1/2 to 3/4" dia.Are your GB's normal?

Ive had issues with the specific brand of fish fertilizer but if you used it at 1/4 strength shouldnt be an issue.
