    Will this kill me?

You are somewhat correct. It's certainly not down to non-flushed (pre-harvest flush) weed. Flushing your medium does not retrieve nutrients from the calyxes (flowers) but from the storage areas in the plant (root, stem and leaves). Every grower can get a spark from his weed if he just puts a...

    Will this kill me?

No it isn't. Nutrients are used up very rapidly in the calyxes when they are transported there from 'storage'. To get a build up large enough to notice (if we assume you dry & cure properly without errors) you would have to overfeed in extreme amounts during growth. Most new growers overfeed but...

    Trichomes & Harvesting

I don't understand how you came to that conclusion. The first image pictures see-through /clear trichomes. The second image pictures cloudy/milky trichomes.

To flush or not to flush

I have provided scientific evidence of the what I've posted. When I explained how nutrients are transported and how nutrient uptake and storage works in a Cannabis plant I had references of what I posted. Nothing was my personal opinion. I don't see how you could have missed every damn link I...

To flush or not to flush

While I fully agree with the points you're making, I'll just say this; You're wasting your time. Some people don't value scientific evidence or fact. This topic is brought up all the time here and it always follows the same path. There are those with personal opinions who won't listen to...

    Trichomes & Harvesting

Those are better %s than most people could ever ask for. I don't know what you mean 'pistils have aligned', pistils have receded? Either way it sounds like it was a peak time to harvest. Keep an eye on them, it's critical to get a proper dry & cure to bring out the full potential in your...

    Trichomes & Harvesting

Looks nice and healthy, you can see they are fighting for the light though hehe but that is quite common. When you have tried growing a few times you should maybe try out LST (low stress training), it works wonders for yield and it makes it easier to keep control of the plants once they start...

    Trichomes & Harvesting

You're very much welcome Doctor John, it's exactly why this thread was made and I'm happy it helps you out. I'm also very glad that you're taking the scientific & factual route with regards to growing, I can promise you that you will get more out of it and also have more fun along the way...

    Harvest time VS red/white hairs?

When/where have I ever said CBD is undesirable? :wall: I'm saying CBN is undesirable. CBD is not the same as CBN..

    Trichomes & Harvesting

I would always go with how the trichromes are looking more than how the pistils are looking but the two should align at peak harvest. Have you checked trichomes all over the plant? Are there any amber trichomes? How are the calyxes looking? They should fatten up nicely. 56 days is not a lot of...

    Harvest time VS red/white hairs?

An increased amount of amber trichomes do indicate a decrease in potency. The development and presence of trichomes is linear. Yes trichomes are produced all the way throughout the plants life, right until the very end. But the plant does not "produce new THC resin as the old glands degrade"...

    Long Term Storage??

Sounds good, curing stops @ 55% so you're alright. I pack the jars & bags 3/4 max. Looking like it'll be a good harvest :weed:

    Long Term Storage??

I have saved some for over a year without any degradation flavour or odour wise, I'd even go as far to say the weed improved. But it is absolutely key to keep humidity and temperature low (not extremely low though) and not allow any light to protrude. But it is hard to keep the potency of the...

Buds very very very over dried :(

If your buds dried out that bad in that short space of time they must've been airy to begin with. You cannot recure now that they have been below the 55% humidity range, curing is simply done. As mentioned you can add fruit peels or wet paper to re-moisten but you will not improve your weed per se.

Ready to Harvets?? Mi5 67 days old

I think he's in that forum ^^ @OP: That picture isn't really good enough to give you a proper answer. All I can see is a vague calyx and some vague colour. I'd recommend you get a microscope or a loupe. They are very inexpensive and they will ensure you get a proper harvest. It's probably...

    curing

It depends on when you start the curing process. The more moisture is lost the more weight is also lost. Some people start curing @ 60% which only leads to a tiny loss of weight if any. Some people start curing @ 75% which could lead to quite a bit of weight loss. But as already mentioned, by...

    Harvest time VS red/white hairs?

As superstoner1 already correctly put it; pistil colour does not indicate prime harvest. I've harvested plants with white pistils and plants with purple pistils. You want to get as close to 100% cloudy trichs as possible and minimize amber trichomes as much as possible. Amber trichomes contain...

    Long Term Storage??

If you pack it properly (vacuum packed or tightly closed jars/bags if possible) and make sure you have a dark, low temperature and low humidity place to store it, you can store weed for years. The most important part is to make sure no light gets to your stored goods and that moisture and...
