Personally I treat the issues that cause me to require mood stabilizers and anti-depressants with the phycs. After a few bad experiences I stopped taking large doses while I was still taking the pharmies. Once I finally got off them, I find the phycs to be a good or better alternative.

I still cotton to Gravita. Probably helps that I can get them in Denver for $270 of the dock. I do use Hortilux bulbs, they are my favorite

For seedlings I would keep it pretty high at first. Probably right from the top of the tent. Once your babies get a bit taller and have some roots going lower it down to 2’ or so. I just setup a room using 315’s and have found 2’ to be good for my purposes.
