Moby Dick vs. Nebula Growdown d(".")b

Note: The light is 6" from the tops, I'm moving it up 1" per day, and Moby hangs out at 5" below the light, but still grows up to 4" from the light. Momona want light! I'm watering tonight and I will be giving Momona 1/4 strength DynaGro Grow, although this is just a test to see if it can...

Moby Dick vs. Nebula Growdown d(".")b

Day 35 update: Moby Dick is now 21" tall, Nebula is 17" tall. Moby's side branches are all out of the canopy and easily lst'd by hand into place, whereas Nebula has shorter side branches that have to be pulled away from the trunk with string. You can see the side shots of each. All pots have...

    Flowering during winter time! HELP!!

You're better off putting some damp paper towels loosely stacked on a plate. You're humidity will go up and stay up.

    Super Lemon Haze--First Hydro Grow

I am curious too, I can't figure out which one it is, but either Moby Dick or Mi5 smells like BO. Only the Mi5 is flowering, and when I get close I smell skunky arm pits. I think the skunky smell is the Moby and the arm pits are Mi5. It's not really strong, but it smells like a gym locker in...

7 weeks into flower, brown spots all over leaves help!

Phosphorous deficiency. This is either because you have not been giving it enough P, or you have nutrient lockout in the soil preventing P uptake. See below: http://www.greenmanspage.com/guides/plant_abuse.html " Phosphorus Phosphorus is a component of certain enzymes and...

7 weeks into flower, brown spots all over leaves help!

It's going to take a few days to notice an improvement. Most nute adjustments take time to show up, usually a week.

7 weeks into flower, brown spots all over leaves help!

Magnesium deficiency, as stated if you just have a few weeks left don't worry about it, but if it's a 10 weeker dose it with 1 tablespoon epsom salts per gallon of water. In the future begin with the salts in week 3 of veg. Happy growing!

Leaves spotting/curling/dying only on upper fan leaves help please (pics included)

Agreed, you do not need to flush and you have a bad magnesium deficiency. You need to add 1 tablespoon per gallon epsom salts (Magnesium Sulfate) at each water from now on following your regular watering schedule. To begin correcting the problem immediately you can dissolve 1/2 teaspoon epsom...

Gave nutes 2 times in a row

Yes, you can use nutes at every watering if needed. You are already giving them half strength, see how they respond to a feed at every water and then you can up the dosage. You are in week 5 of flower, so she needs more rather than less right now. Happy growing!

    Flowering during winter time! HELP!!

It is still early dude. Two weeks in you usually only get a few pistils as she makes the transition into flower. Some strains take longer than others, but around week 4 of flower you really see explosive growth. Your temps are ok, but maybe a few hot water bottles placed in the space during...

    confused about pollen sacks.

If you are talking about the little calyx looking growth at the base of each node (branch) that does not have a pistil in it, then that is normal. Some strains grow these from the primordia (sic?). <edit: Here is a good excerpt: "The first sign of flowering in Cannabis is the appearance of...

Moby Dick vs. Nebula Growdown d(".")b

I went out to the grow room this morning at 5:00 and noticed that all of my plants were doing well, leaves standing up praying for the light. They were all reset to 9" below the 400w just before lights on at 6:00 pm. Moby was already one inch (2.5 cm) taller than it was yesterday, at 16"...

Moby Dick vs. Nebula Growdown d(".")b

There are two phenos, one is a shorter indica dom that is sweeter and faster flower, while another is a taller sativa dom. I believe the one I have going is the shorter, bushier pheno that has the desirable sweet taste I am looking for. Nebula is reputed to have a honey taste, so I am...

Thanks dudes. I'm excited to see just how big Moby is going to get. I've posted this pic before, and I'd love to match it in the spring, but here is the potential:

Moby Dick vs. Nebula Growdown d(".")b

Here's an update on Potzilla. 31 days, 15" tall, fookin (thanks Ocalli, haha!) huge and growing. Nebula is no slacker, but compared to the Moby Dick it looks tiny! I'm getting great node spacing, though they are both gaining in height rapidly. Moby grew two inches this light cycle. The...
