By adding mulch to the top of the plant container you can greatly decrease the amount of evaporation of the water in the soil , (Some preffer the evaporation)

It might not be a bad idea if temps are getting that high to put a sun shade over the plants, this can help drop the temps on the plant a lot .

In 20 litre pots, trained to 3 to 4 colas each would maximize your production , 6 plants spaced even under the one 600 watt lamp in a 4 ft by 4 ft area , with the light contained within the area would maximize your production.

You need to keep the grass away from the containers, some green house floor covering keeps it from growing up around the container, The reason for this is so bugs cannot easily migrate from the grass to your plants, maybe around the outside of the grow area use some powdered time release bug...

In 3 gallon buckets packed tight so long as you got your stretch you might even only have them trained to one cola, . So what, 20 3 ounces colas is 60 ounces, No problem three gallon hydro containers getting three ounces in that kind of volume of root mass, That's 3.75 lbs per lamp,

3 gallon containers are ideal for production, I would fit as many as I could under the area, pack the space completely tight, The amount that would fit in the area would depend on the size of containers you would use, I would say around 20 would fit, It would be good to know the strain you are...
