DWC PH issues: Ph dropping like a rock - Please help

I think you need to stop dumping the tubs so much and let things settle down, I had this issue to when I first started growing and tried dwc and found that I was being too aggressive on making everything perfect 100% of the time and did more harm than good. One thing , at least for me , I found...

Needing some help with designing my led light.

Thanks brother for the education, I see your point with clarity now. I wonder what the articles I reviewed were referring to then..just a raw load in general? The reason I was looking at a parallel circuit after it was mentioned was due to the fact if I wanted to expand latter it would allow me...

Needing some help with designing my led light.

I was talking about the load as in current. All the research I did seemed to suggest that the load was divided equally in a parallel circuit thus if one ,or more, participant failed the total capable circuit load would now be available to the remaining participants and once again divided...

Needing some help with designing my led light.

Are you sure about that? I think it's about capacity in a parallel circuit; if a participant on the circuit goes out the available capacity for the other remaining participants has increased. Whatever is on the circuit, in this case leds, would have to have a governor built into them or they...

Needing some help with designing my led light.

The two biggest issues I see with parallel is that you can have current hogging some one led/strip might take more than it's fair share. The voltage is the same across the board but the total available current is divided by the amount of devices in the circuit; is this correct? And, after...

Right, which is what I was looking at doing ..see my previous post about doing exactly this. Parallel was mentioned and I see some guys using is thus the interest. I'd like to see the pros and cons on it etc.

    You're right ...I can't find them either. https://www.bridgelux.com/sites/default/files/resource_media/DS131%20Bridgelux%20EB%20Series%20Gen2%20Data%20Sheet%2020171020%20Rev%20A.pdf

Needing some help with designing my led light.

First, thanks so much for chiming in...I really appreciate your time. This might explain why I've seen some guys that run their setup lower say at 300 watt say I can turn this setup to 600 watts for ex...but then when I look at their driver It's forwarding voltage isn't enough for the amount of...

Needing some help with designing my led light.

I've read a few of these threads by folks like rider509 and graying.geek regarding the led strips and personally I think that it's better for me and my application over the traditional cobs. I like the fact that the light is more easily spread out by default vs cobs, you don't need reflectors...

Thanks to both of you for your input. I've never even heard of these strips so I'll have to look into them, what are the pros to them vs the cobs? Can you get the same power output and efficiency with them...what I see off hand is they spread the light out more than a cob but I'm concerned about...

Needing some help with designing my led light.

I read a lot last year from supra and others on leds and understand the basic concepts like running the cobs in series and looking at the voltage of the cobs and the amount you want to run while adding their voltages all up into one sum to make sure the driver has enough forward voltage for them...

Quietiest in-line fan on the market??

Bought a vortex "s" line and found it cheaply made and way loud ...sent it back and bought a "Soler & Palau" silent line and have been very happy.

    need some cbd oil recommendations

Hello friends, not sure if this is the correct forum so if not feel free to move it. I'm living in a state that does not allow any forms of cannabis and unfortunately for me I suffer from chronic pain ...mostly nerve and muscle based pain which also creates anxiety as pain just wears you down...

    Portable Vaporizers

I had some of the same issues but resolved them by grinding my weed up in a coffee grinder very fine and then using an old usb pen drive to tamp it down. Also, always make sure it's clean and use the lubricant on the mouth piece steam or the electronic connections can be flaky. After several...

deep freeze or cool and dark for long term storage?

By the way if anyone is interested in an update: I cut the plant and let the buds dry for one day or two...can't remember but just until the surface moisture was mostly gone but the buds still very very soft. I know I didn't dry them in the racks for more than 48 hours with just a ceiling fan...

Why does NIH keep putting cannabis down??

I've found that people with mental issues had those issue before they starting using a substance; most of the time they started using a substance to try and alleviate said mental persecutions. So, I believe while some people who were going to develop mental issues in life will do it with our...

Lots of bad news for Denver..

I'm just emotionally done with the gov, trying to figure something out that can't be figured out because it was never meant to be figured out. I love my country and the brave military men and women who protect us but the handlers are corrupt cowards that don't deserve my loyalty or attention...

    Cloning

I built one to, a 750 gph pump and about 12 red misters but not having much luck. What temp do you keep the water at? Sometimes they get little white bumps all over the stem but they kinda don't really root, my water is about 74F. I'm one of those who has tried everything to clone and don't have...

    Cloning

Lol...you're keeping it simple bro, I like it. Have you ever seen the air cloning? I was thinking of getting some of those little small round rock wool cubes and trying the air layering cloning.

    Cloning

How do these compare to rapid rooters? One of the reasons I like perlite and vermiculite is that after they've rooted you can rise and transfer to a sterile hydro system as compared to using a plug which you can't take off. I don't use medium; I just use a pool noodle to drop the clone into the tub.
