Those ball like things are on all plants, don't know the botanical lingo for them, but they are part of the plant. I suspect they are there as a mechanism to make the joint between main stem and the branch stronger. But don't worry those are normal. They are not male testicular appendages.

You're temps are ok but I reckon 78--83 when lights are on and lights off temps should be around 10 degrees less than the lights on temps. You only need to worry really when they drift into the high 80s or above

get a cloth or sponge maybe even two or three layers of cloth or sponge or any material which lets water through, place the cloth over the soil and water the cloth---the water will seep through the cloth and gently into the soil, add slowly and let the soil take up the water without rushing it.

northern lights are a great beginners strain and I have grown it with good success 4 times, I kind of recognised it lol. ( man that's impressive even though I say it myself ) Ive never grew the auto flowering strain though but they say as far as autos go Northern Lights is among the best.
