    i think what im going to do is, cut my current hole bigger. add another piece of plywood underneath (screwed from the top) and make my fitting hole into that, so it is countersunk like someone suggested

    i like the idea, may be hard to find a small funnel so what your saying is. if the funnel is a 4" diameter, i have to make a 4" hole in the wood, and wrap the plastic underneath ? caulking the top inside lip ?

    hm, if i can find a small enough funnel that may work, so 1. attach funnel under neath ( attaching hose or something to it leading to drain ) but what do i do with my 1" hole and plastic on the top? not quite understanding that part. thanks again for the ideas, and if anyone else has...

    i mean theres probably 3" from the floor to my plywood, so not much room underneath what do u mean by this? the rubber and the fitting itself have a bit of a lip and i believe thats giving me my grief. im not very handy so not sure how to get this working lol

    ha, thats a neat idea, but id kinda like something to get rid of it faster, there must be a way.. it all slants to the hole with the fitting i have there.. once it puddles up it starts piling up the sides. there must be somethin i can do to get it outa there lol

    even with the thrull hull fitting there will be a bit of a gap? they had these at the hydro store aswell but i thought what i bought would be better as it has a sliver drain aswell, but dosnt work i guess idk.. lol, all the water piles up where it should, just doesnt go down.... bleh. im stumped lol
