    Why do some guys wats to still use mono led with cobs?

    So... Was there ever a consensus about what monos would be best to supplement white cob's for flower? My thinking was that if add them to the heatsink on their own circuit and turn them on and off when I needed them if have a dual purpose light. Then perhaps instead of 3500's, go up to a cob...

    Yes I have but I think going over it another 100 x might be best. Fortunately, these guys have been awesome enough to piece it together really well for us that I can build a nice cost efficient light that will work. I'm doing a lot of reading and will get it eventually albeit never as good as...

    If running your cob's at full capacity, meaning your driver hold 5 cobs and you're running it full, how warm do the drivers get?? Is it wattage dependent?

    my driver of choice is Mean Well HLG-240H-C1400B. I thought I saw somewhere it ran them at 250w but please bear in mind..I'm going off of another members recommendation so I'm not precisely sure what wattage they will be running at. CXB3070 3500 is the cob

    Just so I'm clear...these cree 3070 are only just over an inch square? Am I seeing this right?? 27.35mm square? :confused:
