Nope thats right. if you can find some T2 aquarium bulbs (1/4") they blow T5 away for efficiency, but they're limited to 18" max... perfect for a clone box/moms. I asked because it seemed abit thicker than a T5, and he said it was indeed a T8 (prob easier to make a proto with)

FloraSuns are just like 6500k's except they have 630-660red instead of 610orange like practically all other grow/6500k bulbs do (except the couple we're talking about here). They're the top left graph in the last group of 4 SPD's. Same as colormax, roseates, etc... but only $8. I dunno, Im cheap...

I really like that, and shouldnt be too hard to find (except maybe the colormax, i havent looked for them much, I found them in T8 at petco tho) I'd put in an order for RedSuns so you have 2 whenever they're available. I'd slide them in there too if possible, otherwise it sounds like a strong...

I like em, I have roseates, I also have colormax's for my houseplants:) the chart for the roseate shows how although the spike isn't as high as others in the graph, it has the largest percentage of its output in the red range. The spike is wide which offsets its shortness if that makes sense...

I said 1/4 before, but I meant 1/2 of the total bulbs being actinic. If you got 8 cheap 6500ks, throw in one or two bluewaves and 1-2 reefwaves. You'll love it! Id go 2 of each if you have 8 total bulbs :)
