Both plants are now really close to flowering... am waiting for my red spectrum bulb to arrive which should be here in the week. As soon as I have it i'm gonna switch to 12/12... latest pic of both plants attached. One needed watering so looks a little droopy.

I'm experiencing exactly the same thing right now with my one plant... i'm gonna slowly add some nutes which i've not had to do at all... vermiculite i believe helps retain nutes... so hopefully will work! Glad you got yours sorted!

Hi guys, The last pic that was posted as you can see some of the leaves at the bottom started to go yellow. I've trimmed three leaves off tonight (maybe i shouldn't have) but they were all really yellow, and i mean like proper yellow... lack of nutrients? any ideas...? p.s. no responses from...

Hi mate, I'm not sure why mine grew so quick. To be honest I was quite surprised myself. I start them off in small pots with normal high nitrogen soil from garden centre mixed with a dash of perlite... I waited probably up to a couple of weeks when they'd out-grown their pots and then...

That's a shame dude. Would be well worth reading the lighting sections on this site as i mentioned before to gain some knowledge of the lighting you're using. Don't give up though. My first seedlings died too and you can rectify your growing conditions. keep going dude and it will pay off!

Both plants now... the larger one at the back has now been topped and is still growing successfully, the smaller one is almost equal in height but not as bushy. Both are about 8 inches high and not I will be starting to flower next week! YIPPEE! Thoughts please!

promised i'd check your journal - well not too bad a start. Bear in mind what the others have said. Now that you've lowered the plants you should be ok. Check out some of the lighting threads on this site as they will come in useful. Ideally you don't want them to stretch too much at the start...

Well, I'm just using a very basic garden centre soil that had a high nitrogen content. Then I bought some perlite and some vermiculite and have mixed it all together. i would suggest, 15-20% perlite, 25% vermiculite and the rest made up with yourt basic soil. Try and get one that says 'high...

I'm gonna purchase a red spectrum bulb for flowering but you can choose to purchase the ballast with a blue...
