Another bad thing I dont like about the 3x 3070s setup trying to cover a 2' wide space you have to run the COB up higher to get coverage off to the sides of the tent and also to keep the intense area below each COB from bleaching the tops. Just overall not a good spread of light for my space...

Thats perfectly fine whats happening has happened to me many times. When the young seedling starts getting into veg mode the stem swells up and that outer layer splits and flakes/peels off. Nothing bad going on to worry about.

Not that it wouldnt work but I dont think that is enough sink for 50-60w, probably would run a bit hot unless you put a small pc fan or two blowing in the fins down the length of the heatsink or maybe if you had really good air movement in the grow area to help cool the heat sinks more...
