I'm afraid you might have spider mites! Look on the backside of the leaves for tiny dots and if you see those tiny dots moving you for sure have spider mites. Neem oil works well for spider mites

Top it and wait a few weeks fill in your space then you'll get 2 pounds

I really doubt that is a deficiency I seen rust spots like that on plants that have been watered too often. It's not so much the amount you water it's the frequency
