    its so hard to keep positive when the only plant you have that sprouts is the one that you didnt really plan on growing anything useful out of(christmas bulb) and then even that one dies

    im going to plant my newly germinated seeds in a plastic greenhouse tray that i got from zellers for like 5 bux, new shultz moisture control soil, and after the first 4 weeks ill be using shultz plant food.

    ok so i put ziplock baggies over each of the pots(except my 2 larger pots) and knocked out all but one 42 watt daylight cfl, and already my temp has dropped by 3 degrees, i though cfls didnt give off much heat, hmmm... oh well hopefully all this helps. maybe i should quit using fish tank water...

    what bag are you talking about? i have them germed and in soil, i dont have bags... i was told that the lights should be placed close to the soil to get them to sprout... so i dont need to do this?

    i germed them untill the tap root was 1/4" long and planted them aboiut 1/2" below surface. germed in wet paper towel in a warm dark closet temps are around 79-82

    I DONT GET IT! i dont understand, i have everything right but still no plants. i have nute free soil, chlorine free water, 168 watts of cfl, seeds were planted after being germinated, 2 weeks later(watering enough to keep moist but not soaked) and still nothing. somebody please tell me what...

    thanks guys, lots of help, the reason i transplanted my only baby was because(of course) the only one that sprouted was the one i was just fucking around with(the one i planted in a christmas ball off my tree otherwise i would have left it. emptypockets7: i have not had plastic of any sort...

    ok see thats exactly what i did ...taproots about 1/4" half inch hole, little water and a close light and still nothing:wall: my temps are between 80 and 85 tho is this a problem?
