I found a 68 watt, eq to a 300 watt. 4200 lumens. You mean its no good?? Got it at Home depot. Guess I will have to order some online. Just checked and is 2700K and am flowering so I guess that is good. Have a total of 18,600 lumens, is that enough for 4' x 2' space.

Found a 68 watt at Home Depot for about $15-$16. They seem to have better prices on cfls than Walmart or Lowes.

Been searching threads for a week and think I found my problem. An abundance of Nitrogen. Large leaves are really dark green and curl under. Used miracle grow soil as that is all I could find. No burn on leaves. How can I fix? In 3 week of flowering.

I do not know how to wire things so I have 4 of the hanging lights w/ silver round hood, which I took offf. A 300watt cfl and on each of the other 3, I have splitters w/ 2 23 watt soft white 2700 k and 1 23 watt daylight. Is that too much for the better timers? And thanks guys for your replys.

I have one of the little cheap timers $9. How do you use with power strip. I tried plugging to wall socket and then attaching strip but would not work that way.

Thanks, thats what I was thinking. Need more light fixtures anyway. 3 plants and 3 23 watt daylight, 5000k and they haven't done too bad for first grow and bag seed. Will get 2700K and 6500K and 3 more fixtures. Not overkill for 3 plants?
