Nope on mixing up the color temp. I'm not saying blurples are bad. I have 4 600w (250 at the wall) lights and do very well with them. I've never used anything other than the led's and T5's, but all the "guru's" said HID was better, so trying them out.

The bags of that promix I use already has a lot of pearlite in it already. It's actually a little too light in my opinion so I always add some composted cow manure to it. The bags I use say HP on the side

The Promix I grow in only has some starter nutrients which are good for about 2 to 3 weeks at the most. I usually feed starting at 2 weeks. If you're planning on using nutes anyway promix is a good product and reasonably priced It's also PHed neutral to start with
