Grow box with monitoring and remote control system

If there is what i would call violent flow of water then no need for a aerator but if the water is trickling and not really picking up any oxygen you are gonna need an aerator. The oxygen from the aerator also helps the plant grow. Without oxygen the plant may eventually become sick, stop all...

Do I need a inline fan that's made for lights?

I've seen a lot of bare bones setups that produce ok, they could be better. Like you said though people are happy with it that's all that matters

Do I need a inline fan that's made for lights?

What it all boils down too is how much money you want to spend. If you want to do it cheap I would try to find an old fridge, people give those away. Then you could finagle some lights around CFL, t5, maybe a cheap craigslist LED, pc fans would work for air transfer, desk fan to circulate air...

Do I need a inline fan that's made for lights?

I see tents on Craigslists for sale often, usually with lights and fans for a couple hundred bucks. Or if you like DiY that video is pretty cool.

Do I need a inline fan that's made for lights?

Definetly be neat. Probably shy away from cardboard if it were me because it degrades quick and using water with it.

Do I need a inline fan that's made for lights?

I have never done anything really small. I'm sure nothing would be too hard to set up though. Like a storage cabinet you would get at harbor freight is something you are thinking of? How big can you go? I've seen shit done in old refrigerators with t5's that were inconspicuous.

    Dankroots Gavita Pro 1000e DE - 4 8gal RDWC

On gavitas website they recommend 4,000 btu of cooling per 1,000w. That is rediculously low. These knock off brand my buddy has have a hard time keeping cool with a 30,000 btu air conditioner. I so wish I had the headroom to run these damn things. My next run is gonna be scrog'd. I'm gonna see...

    Dankroots Gavita Pro 1000e DE - 4 8gal RDWC

They are like any other grow light. Have to run the ballast that comes with the reflector though. They are extremely hot. Buddy has 6 knock off gavitas in one room and his 2.5 ton dedicated ac is barely enough to keep the room around 85 degrees in the summer with his co2 he's plays hell in the...

Do I need a inline fan that's made for lights?

You'll be lowering the co2 level. I've never used the co2 supplement you mentioned but if you are blowing air into the room then you will be displacing co2 rich air with non co2 rich air. Not sure how much the pads raise the ppm in your room but generally outside air has 300-400ppm co2 which...

First grow in a long time

That also includes my natural gas which I have my co2 generator hooked too and a dedicated 55k btu furnace for the rooms themselves. Electric was about 850 and my gas was $80. That includes heating the house but the room keeps the house pretty warm and the house furnace rarely turns on except...

First grow in a long time

Got my first entire month running electric bill. Running my setup at about 65%-70% capacity. This is about where i expected it to be. I came up with about $1200 a month to run at 100% perpetual @ about 15 cent per kWh.

Psychocrack, Strawberry Cheesecake, Blueberry, Strawberry, Chocolate Kush, Icewreck & Bubblegum

Best to go with a multi res hydro system unless have strains you know and have grown several times. The room i mentioned is a new setup so it's just a learning curve with these plants. I wasn't really caring how they produce i was more interested in how the rooms ran, heat/cool an humidity wise...

    Light setup (A or B)

If that's the case might as well go with double ended lights if you have the headroom and want to runs tons of ac. I can Only assume this is kind of a budget/new grower who got his hands on some equipment. Mismatched lights and he has another post asking if a duct booster would be sufficient...

Psychocrack, Strawberry Cheesecake, Blueberry, Strawberry, Chocolate Kush, Icewreck & Bubblegum

I've learned over time when you grow multi strains you're gonna grow uneven all across the board. Height, time and feeding schedules. it's all in fun hopefully its not too much of a hassle William Shatter. I have 13 strains going myself at one time in flower all flipped around the same time...

Moxie Alpine cookies & Cali 818

Looks good. Spider mites suck lol. If you do Manage to completely get rid of them let me know how lol. I don't have them now but have had them in the past. They are a pita, I had to stop growing last time, clear my rooms of any plants and clean house. *Knocks on wood* hopefully never get them again.

    Light setup (A or B)

Also looking at your picture. Is this just a flower room and are you adding co2? If not you are going to want to pull fresh air into the room every so often. At least once an hour. If you don't have any issues with the smell, like nosy neighbors or something, just pull the air out of your room...

    Light setup (A or B)

You'll get a slightly better light coverage with A. I would run A. I have ducting ran both ways as you have shown and don't see any difference in cooling capacity.
