ive always vegged under 1k hid just waning to try something new out. Putting a new veg room together in the next couple of weeks so now is the time.

I've never looked into led always been an hid person but I was thinking i would have a little better success and little quicker results under led over CFL and less heat issues then hid

Everything I've done so far is diy up to this point

Under $2000 would be nice

Will get as many as it takes, just looking for people with experience, this is only a veg room.

Looking for a quality LED light to use for vegging only. Looking to veg up to 18 plants until apprx 2-2.5' tall. Not looking to break the bank. Any and all suggestions please.

Assuming it's 8 gauge wire as long as the distance isn't something rediculous you should be golden, anything over 30' i would consider something larger I run my Helios 12 on 8 gauge about a 20' run of wire

If your wire only had black white and ground you have the wrong wire. It can work but is not right.

Black an red are hot, white is neutral, the Helios 12 doesn't have a spot for ground. Make sure white goes in the middle and your red an black go left and right of the middle white neutral wire

just got back into growing, setting up a 11k watt 3 room watercooled with an ebb system converted to a circulating dwc setup. Options and suggestions please, i plan on flooding the 5 gal pots for 18 hours a day and cycling the water back to the res to be chilled for 6 hour. Will this work...

I called hydrogen once and dude couldn't tell me how many burners or sq ft it covered. He thought it was a 4 burner which wouldn't cover what I needed. I made my own hillbilly watercooled generator with a cap 8 burner and a icebox.

If they are already cut down and hanging, I have put tape on backwards "sticky side out" where the plant is cut down and it acts like a fly trap. you will see thousands get stuck to the tape. they try to climb to the fresh cut. use good tape too like duct tape. something super sticky.

maybe let your tap water set out longer then 1 day maybe all of the chlorine isnt evaporating from the water.

I cut 12 clones off of a Genesee purple plant that was given to me. All of the plants are 18 days into veg and all are showing sex. Out of the 12, it appears 1 turned hermie. Should I worry about the others turning. Should I just cut it down? This happened after I topped all of them, could...
