I'd say just 4 x 1ks would be more than enough really. Get yourself some nice hoods. 4 x raptors or whatev. If you want more than that go for 5 1ks, but I dont really think you need the 400s in there. Any way you can increase the width of room to 6? then you could really fit 8 600s with...

they will cover different sized areas, however if you really think about the type of reflector, distance from top of plants, and canopy space you can make it work.

Nl x nl seeds produced by your friend are f2 generation of that strain. Not only do f2 show more variation than f1, they are the first step in interbreeding a line. They may not exhibit 'hybrid vigor' like a solid f1

check out Nugbuckets Mainlining thread over in subcool old school organic. Uses 600 w hps over a 4x4x4. pulls an elbo or more a lamp (under 600s) off of 4 plants.

600 watt hps and a good hood makes for a good 4x4 thats for sure. how much space you have to work with?

cfl, probably none, one of the many hundred int here will probably cause an electrical fire, not to mention 2200 watts is over the load permissible on a 15 amp circuit.

Look up the tek 4 from htg. 20k lumens, with reflector for 150 bucks. If not id vote for a single 600w which is 90 k lumens.

its a nugbuckets cross. limited seed production, and I think he's culled the parent plants.

believe what you will. sub states he sees 1-2 dollars a seed making it an industry problem. You dont ship things across the ocean twice for cheap..

I'd top for 8 heads via nugbuckets mainlining technique, flower them a little earlier than he did, so maybe 55 days of total veg time, but still maintain a slightly shorter awesomly level canopy.

6 in 5 gallon pots, 4 in 7 gallon pots. mainlined, 4 foot tall cab and a nice ass hood and you're good to go.
