im using a 600 lumatek ballast circa 2006. eye hortilux brand super hps 600. mine has that blue look to it when it first fires up each time. it quickly fades over to the mixture of colors as it warms up, im talking 90-120 seconds. yours should be doing the same i would think. lumatek usually...
